Lol, part of the menagerie that live here. Bantams are great, my grandmother was partial to them, I thought they were so cute.

what are everyone’s names? (I guess I think everyone names their pets and chickens too!) 🙂

The chicken in the sketch is Millie, she lobbies for equal rights same as the family pets, (Fionnlagh, Bijou, Fishies from Lily tub #3 and Mystique), so it made sense to have her hold the banner, but I put my foot down about having chickens marching through the parlor, though they have tried. Other members of her flock that have names would be Beulah and Betty (aka The Twins); Queenie; Peeper; Missy and Minnie (mother and daughter). The rest get called “Hey you!” and “Move Chicken!”, depending on what or where they are standing. It is a free ranging little group so I try not to get too attached by naming them …despite what Millie says. Lol.

this is so delightful! love the names…even Move Chicken, is funny 🙂 You’ve got to have some wonderful little stories about all these guys too. We had chickens long ago, raised from eggs…you get attached like it or not. Thank you for sharing your pets’ stories, it was Fun!! 🙂 cheers, Debi
